This summary report is an overview of the views and actions suggested by stakeholders in the course of a European Commission public consultation on mobile health (mHealth).
On 10 April 2014, the European Commission launched a public consultation on mHealth in the form of a Green Paper. Stakeholders had 13 weeks to respond to 23 questions on a wide range of themes: data protection, legal framework, patient safety and transparency of information, mHealth role in healthcare systems and equal access, interoperability, reimbursement models, liability, research & innovation, international cooperation and web entrepreneurs' market access.
A wide range of stakeholders (industry, national and regional authorities, health professionals, research community, non-governmental organisations, patient associations etc) responded to the consultation. A total of 211 responses were received. You can find these responses in the following link:
