We are glad to cooparate in terms of European Union Projects Processes Partnership Performing Arts Department of Performing Arts has been established in the Faculty of Art, Design and Architecture in 2010. The Deparment and its curricula are organized around three programs that comprise Theatre Criticism and Dramaturgy, Dramatic Writing and Acting. Education in Theatre Criticism and Dramaturgy Programme started in the academic year 2018-2019. The focus of the Programme is training sophisticated, creative, productive performing arts theoreticians, critics and dramaturgs, who would generate dramatic repertoire including stage, screen, radio and commercials.

Therefore, the education plan is composed of courses that are prepared by taking the national and international criteria into account. The education plan is flexible so that it can be updated every year and includes courses that are related to different disciplines. Theatre Criticism and Dramaturgy Programme adopts an academic structure that is contemporary, open to innovations and sharing, as well as attaching importance to human values, with its academic stuff of two Assistant Professors, one Lecturer and two Research Assistants.
