"Novel Material Technologies for Alternative Powertrains"

Dear Colleagues and Friends,

It is with great pleasure of the Aerosol and Particle Technology Laboratory (APTL) / Centre for Research and Technology - Hellas (CERTH) to invite you to attend the 2nd APT-STEP WORKSHOP on "Novel Material Technologies for Alternative Powertrains", to be held in Thessaloniki, Greece, 25-26 February 2016 at CERTH.

During this two-day international workshop, experts from research and industrial organisations in Greece, Europe and the USA are invited to participate with presentations. Researchers, professional engineers and advanced/graduate students are invited to attend and discuss new discoveries and problems, exchange their views and develop plans for the future.

The workshop  is organised in the frame of the APT-STEP project. Project's collaborators - AVL List, Centro Ricerche Fiat (CRF) and Centre d’Etude et de Recherche Technologique en Aerothermique et Moteurs (CERTAM) - will participate in the workshop facilitating the interaction of both research and industrial groups. The workshop will promote the creation of future research exchanges and collaborations for innovation and the exploitation of research results.

• Enabling Technologies (nanosynthesis and computational materials) | Invited speech by Prof. Jorma JOKINIEMI (Univ. of Eastern Finland)
• Challenges in Battery Technologies | Invited speech by Dr. Silvia BODOARDO (Politecnico di Torino)
• Challenges in Membrane Electrode Assembly Technologies | Invited speech by Prof. Jens Oluf JENSEN (Technical University of Denmark)
• From Materials to Systems | Invited speech by Mr. Vittorio RAVELLO (Centro Ricerche FIAT)

Tutorial:
During the Workshop, Prof. Constantinos VAYENAS (Univ. of Patras) will give a tutorial lecture on Electrochemistry.
