The Institut Pasteur is a French private non-profit foundation. Its mission is to help prevent and treat diseases, mainly those of infectious origin, through research, teaching, and public health initiatives.

Dear Sir or Madam,
The Institut Pasteur [3] wanted to answer to the ISSI-5 call with other institute of the Institut Pasteur network.
We finally thought that we were not ready enough to answer to the call in September and so we would like to connect with other consortia to discuss if we can join as partner.
This will only involve Institut Pasteur Paris, we have gather a group of 30 people in Paris who are interested in answering to this call. If you are interested we can discuss further.
Our main planned actions were the following :
THE GLOBAL AIM IS TO BETTER CONNECT RESEARCHERS, DOCTORS AND PATIENTS
· Improve the relationship between researchers and communicants :
Create a network of researcher-communicants within institution (train
researchers)
· Improving science communication with the society through art
(illustration, visual facilitation)
· Developp social network to better connect stakeholders
(Patients, Researchers, Medical doctors)
· Curation of information /knowledge management via social network
(eg our Scoop it [4])
· Organize new types of interactives science forum with the
citizens (TED, ethical debate, wikipedia day)
· Develop new metrics to evaluate researchers
· Gender : specific human ressources actions
