We are very pleased to announce that University of Ioannina (www.uoi.gr) and, in particular, the Department of Economics (www.econ.uoi.gr) is organizing the 2nd Summer School in Advanced Economics, aiming to promote research and exchange knowledge and ideas.
The general objective of the Summer School is to provide a stimulating environment for young researchers who seek to obtain advanced training on important disciplines of economics and econometrics. Moreover, the Summer School will offer the opportunity to all participants, and especially the advanced doctoral students, to present their research and interact with other students from all over the world, as well as with leading scholars of the academic profession.
The 2nd Corfu Summer School in Economics will take place from June 29th, 2015 to July 3rd, 2015 at the Dassia Chandris Hotel in Corfu. This year’s specialized topic will be Empirical Methods in Economic Growth and we are honored to welcome Thanasis Stengos the Distinguished Guest Professor.
