Aleksander Moisiu University Durrës UAMD, located in Albania has earned distinction through its relatively recent yet remarkably successful commitment to fostering international perspectives within the realm of higher education. Our institution has demonstrated its agility and swiftness in embracing the global dimension of academic pursuits. Notably, UAMD holds the distinction of being the first university in Albania, assuming leadership roles in three Erasmus+ projects and actively participating as a partner in several others.

Furthermore, we have recently secured a project of 14M EUR under the European University Alliances "Strategic Alliance for Regional Transition" (STARS EU), as detailed on our website www.starseu.org.

We have already signed a Memorandum of Understanding, with University of Ioannina.

We are pleased to contact you within the context of our university's willing to participate as Coordinator in Horizon Europe Call, 'A sustainable future for Europe (HORIZON-CL2-2024-TRANSFORMATIONS-01', with deadline 7th February 2024.
