FRACTALS aims to support the community of innovative ICT web-entrepreneurs and SMEs to develop FIWARE based applications with high market potential, addressing the needs of the agricultural sector. FRACTALS Call is open to all European SMEs and web-entrepreneurs but will additionally focus on areas which are considered as "white spots" (Balkans, South East Europe).

FRACTALS will offer between 50,000 and 150,000 €, reaching a total amount of 5.5 m. EUROS, to 50-60 SMEs and web-entrepreneurs to develop applications based on FIWARE technologies for the Agricultural Sector. Additionally, the FRACTALS project will provide support in the form of mentoring and networking.

Applicants can be:

• SMEs participating on their own (only one SME).
• Web Entrepreneurs, participating in groups of up to five individual members. A member is a physical person (individual) and not a legal person (e.g. registered SME). In the case of a group of individuals, one of them will be appointed as leader. The leader individual will be the main contact point for the project and needs to be registered as a sole proprietor in one of the eligible countries.
• All participants (legal persons or sole proprietors) should be located in Eligible countries (EU-28, FP7 Associate Countries).

Projects duration must be 4-9 months.
