We would like to follow up on our invitation to participate in the European survey on nanotechnology research, innovation and market development, and regulations on behalf of the European Commission. Since the subject matter is of highest importance for the coming EU nanotechnology research, development and innovation strategy, we have decided to adopt a more flexible approach and extend the deadline for the completion of the questionnaire.
The European Commissions DG for Research and Innovation has started this wide-ranging initiative to collect data in support of evidence-based policy-making in the field of research & innovation in nanosciences and nanotechnologies. Their endorsement letter is here:

Your highly valuable input is very important and it is vital to capture and elaborate the points of view of all stakeholders who are involved in the nanotechnology sector and in relevant research and innovation activities. It will help formulating recommendations to the European Commission on how to improve European nanotechnology policies.

We estimate that the questionnaire will take around 35 minutes to complete. We understand that sometimes these surveys touch upon sensitive information. Herewith we commit formally not to disclose any individually (person or organisation) identifiable information.
