- GERI-3-2015: Evaluation of initiatives to promote gender equality in research policy and research organisations

- GERI-4-2015: Support to research organisations to implement gender equality plans

Dear colleagues,

Our Ministry had recently launched the "Science Cafι" series, an initiative framed in the National Programme for the Popularization of Science and Innovation, that seeks to deepen the approach of science and innovation to society to disseminate knowledge and promote a responsible citizenship through three main actions: 

Scientists go to school: researchers from different areas of knowledge visit schools around the whole country, and invite teachers and students to visit their place of work (laboratories, universities, etc.) 

Week of science: R+D centres, museums, universities, libraries and other institutions related to science offer, once a year and for one week, to participate in a broad range of activities.

Science clubs: young people, supported by teachers and professors, gather together in non-formal education spaces, to shorten gaps between school and the scientific environment.

I strongly believe that this Programme has strong potential synergies with ISSI-1-2015: Pan-European public outreach: exhibitions and science cafιs engaging citizens in science. 

For this reason, I would very much appreciate if you could facilitate contact with potential partners / coordinators that maybe interested in this type of cooperation.
