We are delighted to share that the AXA Research Fund 2025 Call for Post-Doctoral Fellowships proposals is now open.
The topic of the call is on “Rethinking Social Contracts for the 21st Century – Demographic Change, Social Protection and Solidarity”. Eight Postdoctoral researchers examining the evolving dynamics of social contracts, and their need to be transformed to address the intersection of demographic shifts, migration, and labor market demands, will be supported based on the decision of the AXA Research Fund Scientific Board. We welcome interdisciplinary perspectives from fields such as sociology, political science, geopolitics, economics, law, public health, environmental studies, and related disciplines. We especially value solution-oriented research that proposes tangible recommendations and outcomes. More information is available in the guidelines and on our website.
Host Institutions1 may submit only one candidate2 for the entire institution (i.e., NOT one per department, faculty, or laboratory). The deadline to express interest for this call is May 5th, 2025, at 4PM (Central European Time).
NB: In case of several Expressions of Interest submitted from a single institution, all applications would be disqualified.

1The AXA Research Fund partners with academic institutions only. Associations, foundations, hospitals, NGOs, governmental bodies, and museums are not eligible for AXA funding.
2Candidates must be awarded their PhD before they submit their Expression of Interest and will not be able to change their host institution after submission of the application.
3Kindly note that any new registrations will not be accepted if they are made after April 17th, 2025 (4PM Central European Time).
