INCREDIBLE cross-cutting seminars to create sectorial partnerships and find innovative solutions
Cross-cutting seminars kick off in Albareto, Italy, a series of meetings seeking innovative solutions to realise the potential of non-wood forest product in the Mediterranean.
A total of three cross-cutting seminars are planned over the course of our project, with the aim of creating cross-sectorial partnerships and supporting NWFP actors and practitioners to find innovative solutions to develop NWFP markets in the Mediterranean. Subsequent seminars will be held later this year on “Innovative business and entrepreneurship for NWFPs” and “ITC tools for improved NWFP value chains and market intelligence”. Stay tuned!
Integrating NWFP in territorial marketing and Ecosystem Service value chains

Chestnut orchards: an opportunity for rural development
22 May 2019, Balboa (León, Spain).
All actors involved in the chesnut value chain are invited to discuss the potential of chestnut production activities, its contribution to economic development in rural areas and management planning as a tool for the reduction of the effects of wild fires.
The INCREDIBLE project aims to show how Non-Wood Forest Products (NWFP) can play an important role in supporting sustainable forest management and rural development, by creating networks to share and exchange knowledge and expertise. ‘Innovation Networks of Cork, Resins and Edibles in the Mediterranean basin’ (INCREDIBLE) promotes cross-sectoral collaboration and innovation to highlight the value and potential of NWFPs in the region.
Innovation Networks of Cork, Resins and Edibles in the Mediterranean basin’ (INCREDIBLE) project receives funding from the European Commission’s Horizon 2020 programme under grant agreement Nº 774632
