The European Commission, Ideal-ist, the network of National Contact Points for ICT, and the COFET project are organising a series of events on Future and Emerging Technologies in Horizon 2020. The event will start with an information day and consortium building event addressing the FET Open and FET High Performance Computing calls for proposals.

On 26 June, the COFET project is hosting a workshop to develop future collaborations strategies and topics in FET and highlight areas of research excellence in the EU13. This discussion is an opportunity to share experiences and think about the participation in FET projects by researchers from all over Europe, enabling talent from new member states to reach their full potential. Whether leading the next new project or setting up a collaboration with researchers on other countries – this is an opportunity to see how the most creative minds can be reached by FET.

The COFET project is supporting the FET scheme by facilitating a focused dialogue between science, policy, and industry. This is realised through a series of three conferences addressing current and forthcoming challenges for interdisciplinary, visionary research as exemplified in the FET programme within Horizon 2020.
