CEF Telecommunications is designed to deploy service infrastructures across the EU based on mature technical and organisational solutions to support exchanges and collaboration between citizens, businesses and public authorities. CEF focuses on providing functioning services which are ready to be deployed and which will be maintained over time, as opposed to developing pilots or technologies.

The 2014 Connecting Europe Facility (CEF) Telecom Call for Proposals - Safer Internet will make €9.7 million available to finance projects of common interest in the telecommunications sector, namely for safer internet generic services.

INFO DAY: DG CNECT is organising an Info Day for the Safer Internet call for proposals. The event will take place on 23 May 2014 in Luxembourg.

A unique opportunity for any organisation interested in submitting a proposal, independently or as part of a consortium, under the Safer Internet generic services call for proposals. The Info Day will be aimed at explaining new features and conditions for participation under CEF.

The info day will be held in Luxembourg on Friday 23 May 2014 between 10.30 a.m. and 3 p.m.
