FET Proactive Initiatives and Flagships

FET is organising an Information Day for the Work Programme 2014-15 on 20 January 2014 in Brussels to present the following:

'Global Systems Science' (GSS) - Contact: Ivica Cubic

'Knowing, doing and being: cognition beyond problem solving'(KnoDoBe) - Contact: Teresa De Martino and Christiane Wilzeck

'Quantum simulation' - Contact: Roumen Borissov

FET-Flagship 'Framework Partnership Agreements (FPA)' and 'Policy environment for FET Flagships (CSA)' - Contact: François Junique

The deadline for submissions of project proposals for FET Proactive initiative is 01/04/2014, for FET flagship is 10/04/2014. At the Information day there will be also a brief presentation on the FET-Open and Coordination and Support Actions (CSA) topics, for which the deadline for submission of proposals will be 30/09/2014.

The Information day will take place at the Diamant Conference & business centre. The meeting will start in the morning with general presentations and will continue in the afternoon with breakout networking sessions.

The event is an opportunity to learn about the new FET-Proactive initiatives, the FET-Flagships and as well as about other initiatives, which are not part of the current call, like FET-Open, CSA, and HPC. You also will have the opportunity to hear about possible new ideas for projects and to share your ideas or just to present yourself and your expertise in a networking session.

Registration is no longer possible. Note that even if online registration to attend the event is not possible, you can always create a profile. This will enable you to take part in the interactive features that this and other events may offer (commenting, responding to event related calls for proposals, etc.). The number of participants per initiative is limited to 80.
