Περίληψη:

Clean Sky is an aeronautical research programme launched in Europe. Its mission is to develop breakthrough technologies to significantly increase the environmental performances of airplanes and air transport, resulting in less noisy and more fuel efficient aircraft, hence bringing a key contribution in achieving the Single European Sky environmental objectives.

The Clean Sky JTI (Joint Technology Initiative) was born in 2008 and represents a unique Public-Private Partnership between the European Commission and the industry. It is managed by the Clean Sky Joint Undertaking (CSJU) until 31 December 2017.

The CSJU will deliver demonstrators in all segments of civil air transport, grouped into six technological areas called 'Integrated Technology Demonstrators' (ITD).

ITD Leaders

Each ITD is led by two industry leaders that are committed for the full duration of the CSJU. They are the founding members (with the European Union) of the CSJU.

Via this Calls for Proposal, Clean Sky aims to incorporate Partners to address very specific tasks which fit into the overall technical Work Programme and time schedule. Due to the nature of these tasks, the Call is not set up using a set of themes, but it is conceived as a collection of very detailed Topics, which fall into the following directions:

  • Clean Sky – Eco Design
  • Clean Sky – Green Regional Aircraft
  • Clean Sky – Green Rotorcraft
  • Clean Sky – Sustainable and Green Engines
  • Clean Sky – Smart Fixed Wing Aircraft
  • Clean Sky – Systems for Green Operations
  • Clean Sky – Technology Evaluator

The maximum allowed Topic budget relates to the total scope of work. A Maximum funding is also indicated. The topic value represents an eligibility criterion for the proposal Depending on the nature of the participant, the funding will be between 50% and 75% of the Topic maximum budget indicated. It has to be noted that the Topic budget excludes VAT, as this is not eligible within the frame of Clean Sky.
